19-year-old Rahma Haruna from Nigeria suffers from a rare and mysterious disease that left her limbs to stop growing at the age of only 6-months old. However, despite her disability and pain that she suffers, she is healthy and has a vibrant spirit, one that has led to recent media attention that has sparked the kindness of strangers. Another reason why abortion should be legal. Isn't this something that could have been detected during pregnancy? If it were me, no way could I allow myself to bring a child into this world who would suffer like this. Anyway. She is beautiful and has a loving family who are doing everything to care for her. |

I've never heard of /seen such a disease. How awful, she is at the mercy of any mean-spirited bastard that comes around. She has such a pretty face, and a great attitude. I'm glad her family treats her well.  |

The info said that her limbs stopped growing at 6 months old. I would assume that meant that she looked normal for the first 6 months of her life. That would make it hard for most parents to kill her at that point... |
