Omg haha I coach at an archery shop, we always give beginners extra long arrows for exactly this reason! If they ask why then I tell them that if they pull the string back too far, it can fall off the rest and give them a super cool new piercing. SO saving this pic! To the person who asked why you would get a kid a bow, it's really not that dangerous. Accidents like this are really, really rare... I see 8 year olds shooting safely everyday. The worst injury i've seen is a cut on the forehead from running into arrows sticking out of the target. |
