When I was in high school in Lincoln Nebraska a girl who sat next to me had this condition. It seemed to cover every inch of her body. Other than the scales she was pretty hot looking.

Ouch! TLC had a teenage boy on and his mother had to put some kind of lotion all over him everyday and he couldn't go in the sun. They did arrange for him to go diving though and he covered himself up to go outside. Very sad.
