The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announces to take part in one of the kingdom’s most spectacular festivals to mark the end of the Buddhist Lent 2014 or Ok Phansa, which usually falls on the full moon day of the 11th lunar month or 8 October this year.
To mark the end of Lent, the local people set out candles in their gardens and lanterns along the roadside and children let off fireworks and lit sparklers.
For this 12 year-old boy it went horribly wrong this year.
