Re: Youth Commits Suicide and Leaves Letter Stating the Motivation
I'm really sorry to hear that, I myself had a brother who killed himself over a girl! It was devestating, unbearable and quiet traumatic for my family and I. He was 19 yrs old and had his whole life ahead of him,4.0 GPA, graduating from LSU, not a single inclination that he would do such a thing. And then bam, all the lives of everyone he left behind in total and utter chaos! I guess that's why it angers me so.

Re: Youth Commits Suicide and Leaves Letter Stating the Motivation
I've been accused of doing something that I didn't do more than once. It's amazing how stressful it is trying to convince cops that you're innocent when they believe you're guilty, and they expect you to lie and say you're innocent. That's the problem with guilty people, they use the same words that innocent people use, to try and get out of trouble. So when an innocent person expresses the truth, the police believe the innocent person is lying. |

Re: Youth Commits Suicide and Leaves Letter Stating the Motivation
As someone who is normally depressed, and thinks of suicide often, I don't show it. My coworkers wouldn't have a clue. I'm always smiling, always laughing, making jokes, making other people laugh, helping others, and holding my head high. But that's all a show. I'm a broken mess on the inside. Life sucks. But it sucks more when those around you know that you want to die. They try to guilt trip you into staying alive. As if being depressed, stressed out, and guilty over things you have no control over isn't bad enough, they try to make you feel guilty to keep you from ending it all. Right, because that makes so much sense...

Re: Youth Commits Suicide and Leaves Letter Stating the Motivation
Suicide truly does leave a devastated trail for those left behind. Just last year an ex-boyfriend of mine committed suicide a week after we'd broken up. I fell into an almost catatonic state and nearly starved to death from grief and survivor's guilt. Can't imagine how his parents must have felt, neither can I imagine this girl's family finding the body. Must be the worst nightmare imaginable for a parent. |
