Coraima Gutiérrez, age 29, was shot to death in the middle of the street just outside the Grand Fairgrounds in Fundación, Magdalena, Colombia.

She was riding her Suzuki DR 150 down the street when she was approached by another bike ridden by two men. According to witnesses (and there were dozens), the man riding passenger on the bike pulled out a pistol and shot her three times in the chest without saying a word. The bike then sped off.

Several bystanders gathered around Coraima's body after she fell, but were apparently ill-equipped to provide aid. Police were called but by the time they arrived the young woman was dead. Several witnesses told reporters that she did not die instantly, but agonized in the street for a few minutes before going quiet.

There is no motive stated for the murder and no suspects have been named. Coraima was the third young woman to be shot to death in that neighborhood this week. The assailants in both other murders also rode a motorcycle but it is not determined yet whether there is actually a connection.

Coraima had two small children and no criminal history or known gang activity.

It's extremely common with female decedents (more than twice the incidence rate of male decedents). And I only post female decedents. So...yeah. It's gonna be present more often than not.
