Five Murdered - Two Beheaded, One Carbonized - After Shootout in Ecuador
In Ponce Enríquez, Azuay province, Ecuador, an armed confrontation between criminal gangs occurred near a mining area. Five men were murdered and at least three others were wounded. Two of the deceased were found decapitated, while another was found completely carbonized. The two decapitated men were identified as 33-year-old Adrian L.B.M., and 37-year-old Walter J.C.G.            One of the heads was later found dumped outside a school. A message was found next to the head, in which it accused the deceased of being responsible for the deaths of miners in the region.  During the police operation after the discovery of the bodies, three individuals were arrested - Oscar Hernán Zambrano Bones (first pic), Edison Jair Cisne Mendoza, and a minor, Jonathan Josué Bravo Preciado. A firearm, cartridges, cash, and a mobile phone were confiscated from them. A few hours later, it was reported that Oscar had died in hospital, apparently of gunshot wounds he had suffered during the shootout.      |
