Young Woman and Her Niece Shot While Bicycling
Her past involvement with paramilitaries (usually FARC in this particular region) was blamed. It is presumed that the young niece was collateral damage. A note was left at the scene.

Wow.. just feckin sad... poor kid.. being a father of a 3 year old this and all posts of kids dying under innocent circumstances is truly heart wrenching.. hope they find the scum who did this and just kill em... no funeral no court case no nothing bury the bastards in unmarked graves too..

The articles I read weren't explicit on the point. I have gotten the impression that a lot of youths have some involvement with paramilitary orgs there and it later comes back to haunt them.
