Mort, I agree. I think she was strangled, judging by the ligature mark and the rest of her. Plus why would she wait for her husband to leave the room just to pee really fast? Hangings aren't usually instantaneous, so the chances of him returning and putting a stop to her suicide attempt was high. I say he did it. And the note seemed almost to be mocking her. Not really words one would expect in a suicide note like that. Idk, things don't add up. |

For my 'professional eye' facts look like clear suicide! Ligature mark is absolutely consistent with low-point hanging and looks usual. Homicidal strangulation is mostly associated with defense of the victim - no indication. Ligature mark is at least unusual for homicidal strangulation. There is a suicide note (if you speak spanish...) and it clearly points out her wish to die (and prepare her for funeral) - so (if not written by someone else - which can be found out quite easily by comparing other writings of her) a clear proof for suicide! Finally the story told by husband sounds inconspicious, as she waited for him to leave the room to start her actions. The time amount mentioned is absolutely sufficient. So at court I would say 99% suicide (unless there is no other evidence)! |
