Young Woman Executed and Dumped on the Side of the Road
17 year old girl and her friend left school to go get lunch earlier this week. At some point during the outing, they split ways for a matter of minutes. The friend waited around at the meeting point for their rendezvous, but her companion never showed. When she still hadn't appeared by the time school was out, her mother tried calling her but her cell phone was turned off. Her body was discovered about an hour later by a passing motorist. She had been dumped beside the road, her hands tied, her shoes on the ground beside her, and a cord around her neck, held in place with a wooden stick. Her listed cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation from the makeshift garrote that had been used to strangle her. Unfortunately, she had also been tortured, with multiple abrasions from beatings on her arms and torso. Additionally, she was shot once in the stomach, though it was determined that the wound was not fatal-merely agonizingly painful if inflicted before death, which it probably was. Suspects were not clearly disclosed, but her friend indicated that she'd recently been seeing a young man with gang affiliations and may have been involved in drug trafficking herself, to some extent. Though that is still entirely speculation at this point. Her tox screen came back negative, so if she was affiliated, she wasn't using. Photos are of varying quality, being split between crappy digital sources, print media, and grainy vidcaps. drug related?, torture to give up boyfriend or drugs?, money owed?  Either way its sad for a 17 yrs old to have such fate |

Eh, 17, 27, or 107...a beating/gut-shot/garroting trifecta is a fucking rough way to go. Age is irrelevant when it comes to that much suffering and terror. Hard to imagine anyone deserving that fate, regardless of age or circumstances.  |

 Dunno what to tell you. Two independent sources corroborated the age as 17. That's the most yer gonna get outta me. |
