What on earth has not liking trannys got to do with homophobia? I'm not homophobic in the slightest. It's fucked up men, prancing about in women's clothing, getting their knobs chopped off + claiming they're women that I have a problem with.

That’s pretty much what a big segment of trans people deal with, and so long as they’re not getting caught up in social justice bullshit or other forms of postmodernism, I don’t see the problem with them opting to adjust their bodies to get less friction in their daily lives.

Would be nice if the neural tubule could sync up during gestation, but beyond a point it’s ballistic due to the need to develop into what will become an immuneprivileged separate compartment. Any derailment beyond that point results in a trans configuration, pretty much the same as a brain transplant would. And you do see the cerebral dimorphisms expected in the gender their brains develop into, if memory serves, though morphometrics aren’t really my field.

Happy to agree communicating honestly is important. I mean, I’m sure the guy who said killing traps is okay would also be inclined to say it’s okay to kill people who have STDs, are infertile, or in other ways diverge from expectations, unless they are wearing a sign with a fucking resume of their relational and sexual merits and demerits. I respectfully disagree, but do expect any pertinent details to be honestly shared in a timely manner. For whatever you’ve got between your legs, pretty much any time prior to hitting the sheets is fine by me. And there’s plenty of stuff that’d stop me at that point, but a limp sausage isn’t really one of them if it’s been smooth sailing up to that point and the other person is fine with “that’ll take a bit of getting used to”. Mileages will vary, but killing over mileage is invariably unacceptable and aggressively harping on it is just poor taste.

Figure some classy poster will make a gay-themed remark at this point, so I’ll just save whoever the trouble and say I’m bi with a preference for someone feminine and little preference as to gender, not gay per se.

I see my trap friends struggle with this sort of crap all of the time, and it never ceases to amaze me how much time and effort people will sink into not walking away, or the time and effort spent on expressing hate or disgust. I get feeling it (as is evident), I don’t get the urge to spew it. Explaining the topic from ones perspective, or debating it politely, that I can relate to. The vitriol, that I’ve only seen (offline) in people filled with it by nature and people using it to ward off some truth they’d rather not accept.

But I guess the internet brings out the charming inner drunk in us all. I mean, I talk like this when I’m drunk, too.
