Young Lady Killed After Trying to Hitch a Ride After a Party
In Nova Viçosa, on the night of 8th October 2017, the body of a young lady was found. Gabriela Vilas Boas* (known as Gabi) + her friend, Poliana Silva Lucas, had both attended a party. They left after a disagreement with other party goers. They walked to the road to hitch-hike. They were approached by 2 men on a red Honda motorbike. Shots were fired at the women. Gabi was hit in her cheek, abdomen, hip + hand, she died from her wounds. Poliana was hit at the nape of her neck, shoulder + hand. Poliana managed to run away + went back to the party. She asked for help + an ambulance soon arrived to take her to the hospital. Police think the murder was linked to Gabi's brother. 4 people were involved in the murder of 24 year old Paulo Henrique Gonçalves Batista (aka PH) on 14th July 2017. 2 of the murderers are now dead + the other 2 were still alive as of when the murder of Gabi happened. I'm assuming that the police think that those 2 had murdered Gabi. On 5th February 2017, PH had survived a murder attempt (wasn't so lucky the second time around!). *I've also seen her name as Gaby Ribeiro.      Gabi  Poliana  Gabi + PH  |
