It is considered a mental condition now, so they are still allowed to be buried in the cemetery and stuff. The priests still bless them, and people still pray for them, so why wouldn't it be any different than someone else who has a mental condition accidentally killing themselves..?

Using a scare tactic in this case is dumb.
