The more civilized, and often more Christian, societies pressure other countries, like Saudi Arabia, not to execute children. Theses countries agree not of concern for the young, but for money or weapons they want from us. In retrospect, the death penalty for anyone is barbaric. It just satisfies a blood lust in people.

I disagree. I think here and in the real world, the majority of people just regurgitate some jingoistic or often repeated claim from someone they look up to.

If you doubt this, consider the crowd at a Trump rally. They don't really like billon dollar gifts to the super rich while programs that benefit them are sliced to pieces.
