Young Couple Killed in Motorcycle Crash
Both in their 20s. He was piloting the bike and they somehow got tangled up in a semi-truck tire while someone was trying to pass. Details were unclear. Neither decedent was actually run over by the truck but both traveled several meters independent of the bike and neither landed well. The woman flew through the air and did a face plant in the dirt on the shoulder of the road. You can see the furrow in the sand where her hand was presumably clutching at the ground in her final moments at high speed, face-first. Her cause of death was head trauma and a broken neck. No other injuries were noted on her body. Amusingly enough, despite flying across the road and landing head first in the dirt, she seems to have kept BOTH of her crocs on her feet.  The boyfriend's deck shoes seem to have been left behind at the truck when he took his manned flight across the highway. Some fairly good quality images and video, if a bit light on the gore. |

When you look at that windscreen, 50% of it obscured by curtains and other dangly shit. No wonder the driver hit them. |
