The pics are from a busy, underfunded mortuary. Certainly not an organ harvesting workshop as a previous poster pointed out organs are taken from live people. That's why people who are loosing their bits get shot with muscle relaxants before a doc goes in with a knife. Think twice before carrying a donor card.

The first step of organ harvesting is to check the health condition of the organ. If the source is human, most countries require that the source is legally dead for organ transplantation purposes (e.g. cardiac or brain dead) or a voluntary healthy adult for the donation of some organs. Organs cannot be harvested after heart stops beating for a long time. Thus, brain dead donor is preferred, but only a small percentage of deaths are brain deaths. Therefore, the majority of human organ sources are post cardiac death. -from Wikipedia- So people who are cardiac dead, not just brain dead have organs taken. Death is a process, not just a condition. Often people have organs taken whilst technically alive, that is a machine is sustaining life before and even during the process of harvesting organs. Drugs are used to prevent shock and tissue response which could make the organs unusable. So it isn't beyond the bounds of feasibility that a person having organs taken could be in a state where they are not only aware if what's going on but could actually feel the knife go in.
