Translated article: On the afternoon of 8th of May 2008 at around 3pm, a woman jumped from the 6th storey of the "Grand" shopping mall in Shanghai. The woman looks to be around 28 years of age, wearing blue shirt and jeans and clad in black shoes. Her brain matter spilled all over and her jaws were dislocated. Security rushed to cover her body with a piece of white cloth. A Ms Yang told reporters that the woman landed on a table atop a platform with a loud "pop". People in the mall screamed and this attracted a lot of attention. Police arrived soon after and partitioned off the scene with wooden boards. Witnesses told this reporter they saw the woman climbed over the railings, but didn't stop her as they thought she was one of the mall's advertising staff putting up decorations. At present, the mall has resumed normal operations. The identity and motive of the woman has not been established.
