In Fresnillo, Zacatecas state, Mexico, citizens found the head of a woman placed on-top of a cardboard narcomensaje, signed by the Cartel del Noreste (CDN). Local residents reported that, the night before the discovery, they had heard what sounded like gunshots from a nearby house.

Metres away, a black plastic bag with the other parts of the dismembered body was located, and some stray dogs had to be scared away from chewing on the limbs.
