Anyways, I digress. She was definitely a purdy one, but you know the saying "only the good die young". Well, in the case of Latin American women, the better-looking you are, the more likely you are to meet an untimely and unfortunate demise. Granted, this observation isn't rooted in any "statistics". Friday 9th June 2017, in Fortaleza, 29 year old Sandra Rafaela Jefferson Bastos, was shot dead. She was shot 5 times by someone who rode off on a red motorbike. 5 days later, police arrested four people. 2 of them, Jonathan Lima da Silva (24) + Romário de Sousa Alves (22). They are members of a criminal group know as “Gangue dos Gafanhotos” (The Gang Of Locusts). Also arrested were José Wellington Lima da Silva (19) + Rosangela lopes da Silva (50). They were arrested + several weapons ceased. Sandra had threatened the members of the gang across social networks after the murder of her father.   |
