Woman Shot - by Herself or by Her Husband?
Mexico this time. On last Friday this woman in her mid-thirties was found shot in her bedroom. She was lying on the floor besides the bed, and in the bed slept a five years old kid (last image - visible even if it is censored), who slept from it all. She was nude from the waist down, and as you can see, she had managed to push or throw the gun pretty far away, considered she was shot in the head. No wonder that it was supposed that it wasn't a suicide, but instead was the work of her husband, who is a policeofficer. It was his gun btw. Nothing is sure about it though - half of the sources go with suicide, the other half homicide. Given her nudity and her and her husbands status, it is no surprise all images are censored or cropped above or below her crotch (those showing the placement of the gun). Or are they? Image 04 is the usual crop, but image 05 (either by accident or deliberately) is cropped a little bit higher and clearly shows her pussy |

Re: Woman Shot - by Herself or by Her Husband?
well there is a concept of recoil, and it is usually agreed that handheld pistols have quite a kickback and can be displaced 4-10 feet from the point of firing if no resistance is offered to its motion, this point would go in favour of suicide . but another commonly found phenomenon in unnatural deaths is Cadaveric spasm.. that the hand and fist .. clench up and grip on to something at the moment of dying... and this grip is strong, vice like and unyielding. it cannot be easily prised open and usually persists till decomposition of the body sets in and rots the muscle. it is permanent spasm and clenching of the hand/ fist at the instant of dying.. and most frequently seen in unnatural deaths. Cadaveric spasm is of importance in Forensics, as usually incriminating evidence is gripped by the victim in their dying moment and this gives an idea about the circumstance of death. now in this case the Gun has a looped trigger guard and so most normally cadaveric spasm if it occurred at the time of suicide .. the spasmodic contraction would've kept the gun in her hand. and the trigger guard's loop would've made it easy for the gun to stay there in her hands grasp.. so at first sight, it doesn seem odd.. but now if you do some forensic guesswork . here are some pointers. she was probably standign when she shot herself.. now if she shot herself standing , the brain went poof and there was no way she could've moved her feet after the bullet went through, so in all probability, she fell at that spot.. and her feet didn't move more than a few inches .. so now if we see the distance of the gun from her feet.. its not too far.. only about 1.5 to 2 feet .. and if a person standing upright drops something from eye level, its quite probable for the object to fall 1- 2 feet from where they're standing. also observing the woman's hands closely , you can appreciate that both her hands seem to be slightly clenched, as if in cadaveric spasm.. now observe the left hand.. i'm not sure if this policeman's wife was a left.. but the left hand is supine on the ground and the thumb, middle , ring and little finger are curled as if gripping something, while the index finger is extended at the proximal phalanx but flexed at the distal phalanx.. just as if she was gripping the handgrip of the pistol and the index was placed on the trigger to shoot.. so in all probability she stood naked and with the gun in her left hand.. aimed at her head, shot herself ...and the hand retained it's position after the shooting... but the cadaveric spasm wasn't strong enough to hold the pistol during recoil, (which fell at her feet)...and then she fell back where she was standing.. her left arm in spasm... such that it still remained supine and the hand in the gun holding position with the index finger cocked . all in all I would say from the Knowledge if Forensics that i possess. it seems to be a suicide, or a fantastically staged murder. Then again if the husband was a police officer, he may be well acquainted with forensics and the stuff i talked about,, and it could be a staged suicide.. .. so i dunno.. |

Re: Woman Shot - by Herself or by Her Husband?
It seems that she had a moment of self realisation where it dawned upon her , that she was well past her Brazillian expiration date, and decided to do the needful Brazillian authorities must be really enjoying themselves.. as only few seem to live long enough to renew any of their licences and passports and stuff.. they must be having a party down there in their departments. Only the record of birth and deaths Dept will be mildly overworked. |

Re: Woman Shot - by Herself or by Her Husband?
Now wait. Child is sleeping in the bed. You drop your drawers, pull up a gun and shoot yourself. WTF?? Like you want your child to see you like that? Sounds more like hubby was pissed, told her strip down, shot her, dropped gun and took off.
