Woman Shot Dead Only Hours After Burying Her Husband
This 27 year old woman was shot dead in front of her house, just hours after burying her husband who was murdered over the weekend. He was a 'neighborhood watch' leader who was having some success in disrupting drug trafficking in his community. Too much success, apparently. Her last FB post was made about 2 hours before her death and stated that "The sound of my children crying for their father is almost too much to bear." Less than 120 minutes later, two men on motorcycles shot her several times, including in the face. She was killed instantly.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Are you being deliberately obtuse? A snitch is a criminal informer who rats out the criminal organization. This guy was the head of a neighborhood watch association and citizens' protection group to try to keep his neighborhood clear of drug traffickers. How the fuck does that translate to 'snitch'? Let alone his wife, who was just a secretary at some office and got blasted for no reason other than being married to a local civic leader who cared about trying to keep his neighborhood clean. |

How disgusting it is that these people would kill someone so unaffiliated with who they have a problem with outside of being married to them, and after such a saddening time for the family. They just couldn't go without going full sub-human parasite. It's sick.

I just feel that if you have to keep your neighborhood clear of DRUG TRAFFICKERS the neighborhood is now just a HOOD. Best move. And also, with her being the spouse I'm quite sure she knew that he was informing aka snitching. Honestly, the man was quite an idiot to have a family and be involved in telling on the criminal element. So now he's dead, his wife is dead, his kids are orphans, but at least he still has his integrity.... I'm sure that'll give them comfort and provide for them... His priority should have been keeping his family safe. Maybe I could have been less obtuse with my comment but I like to keep them short and sweet. Still a good post though  |

Right and wrong, in my humble... Keeping your mouth shut and giving a blind eye will keep you alive but actively facing crime and trying to dignify your local community with courage and grit can send a message to other residents, that they don't need to stand to the abuse of criminals... Unfortunately the variables, in this case, prove that bullets weight more than ideals... |
