I remember a guy in Russia who tried committing suicide by jumping down, but he landed on a girl who broke his fall, her parents then sued and the court determined that he should pay for her medical expenses.

Duuuude, thats kinda wrong. Suicidal people are mentally ill, they simply aren't able of understanding what are they doing and whats going on in their head. They need to be put to mental hospital, not given an advice how to succeed at dying  |
