Woman Hanged Naked From a Bridge in Guanajuato, Mexico, 2023
Shortly before 11 p.m. on February 7, 2023, authorities found an unidentified woman hanging by a rope from the La Moncada bridge on the Salvatierra-Celaya highway in Tarimoro, Guanajuato state. She was naked and showed signs of violence. A message written on her body said she was being punished for supporting a person called Coro and was signed with the initials of the Cartel de Santa Rosa de Lima, invoking El Marro and support from the Gulf Cartel. No cause of death was published, and the Guanajuato state attorney general's office opened an investigation. The following morning, gunmen fired on Tarimoro's city hall and then the municipal traffic-police headquarters. Traffic officer Jose Andres, 50, was killed, and a 39-year-old municipal employee named Maria was wounded and hospitalized.  ·  ·  ·  · |

I believe they wanted to humiliate the woman hence she was hanged naked  But well, it's nothing new in the Cartel Wonderland. What else would one expect from savages who mutilate people alive and eat their organs in front of them?  |

Happened before and will probably happen again. However, there were a some years where shooting and chopping was the preferred method down there and your rarely saw any hangings. Btw: Crime does not pay. |

They shot up the Mayor's office and police station the next morning as well. The next day, at 6:30a, two vehicles full of hitmen arrived outside the city hall of Tarimoro, which has the mayor's office inside, and opened fire on the front of the building and at the people standing near it. A municipal health services worker, 39-year-old María, who was walking to work received a gunshot injury. The hitmen then drove to the municipal police station, located about a block and half away. There they shot up the front of the building in a similar fashion, this hitting a 50-year-old municipal traffic cop named José Andrés who was sitting in his patrol car parked outside.  ·  · |
