Her shoes are in a pretty fucked up position. Not sure if they slipped off because she tried to escape her killers or if they came loose while they were dragging her out of the van and into the street after she'd already expired from being garroted.  |

Very much so, I would suspect. Seriously, I have seen hundreds of ligature strangulations and very very few of them have that swollen tongue hanging out. Far more common in hangings where the pressure continues long after the decedent blacks out. In this case I suspect it means that it took them a damned long time to strangle her with that cord or belt. |
