One of the numerous 'feminicidios' in Chalco (Mexico) in the past few weeks. This woman, still unidentified, was strangled to death and left in a field with her shirt pushed up. The coroner did not report any evidence of sexual assault aside from that, however.

She is assumed to be between 20-25 years of age and was discovered fairly shortly after death by a group of people walking to work near the field where she was lying. Her body displayed multiple indications of ligature strangulation. It was initially reported that she had been shot, but the coroner statement contradicts that report and all news agencies reporting on the incident later in the day only mention that her cause of death was Asphyxiation By Strangulation.

Yeah. not even really sure why her shirt's pushed up anyway. No sexual assault reported. Plus, if they were just trying to humiliate her in death (as if strangling her and leaving her in a field wasn't enough), why not remove the bra entirely, as is often the case?

I initially figured it just got pushed up circumstantially while they were dragging her body or something, but I think it's too far up for that, plus her bra would be dirty from being dragged along the dirt face-down. No idea. Guess its a mystery that, given the locale, will likely never be solved.

I do agree that it's a pretty crappy way to end up.

Looks like they had a tiny bit more respect for her in death as they haven't humiliated her by exposing her. First one I've seen where the body has not been sexually exposed.

Maybe they intended to sexually assault her but something spooked them, which sounds ridiculous considering where this took place.

No, the scene report specifically stated that her body was discovered with the shirt pushed up. Otherwise, I'd be inclined to agree with you.

i read that she probably put up quite a fight as well and she was beaten in the head also. Seems her right eye is swollen. weird thing is that her shoes (and socks) are missing.
