Woman Found Decomposing on Bed
Carpina, Pernambuco state, Brazil. The woman was identified as R.M.d.S., of undisclosed age. Relatives who hadn't been able to contact her for a few days broke in and found her body lying on her bed. No word on cause of death.   |

Greenish (or in this case "dark green") discoloration, protruding tongue and protruding eyes..... the unholy trifecta of ghastly decomposition. To me, at least, it's scarier than severed body parts and charred skin. But, there's also oddly beautiful about it? |

This site has relieved all my fears about zombies. It will be hard for them to chase me when their eyes are clogged with botflies, the lungs are filled with pupa and ants, and their body it draining from every orifice. They would not even be able to keep up their shambling walk after 2 days. I could just binge watch the first season of "Walking Dead" and by the time I was done, the zombie apocalypse would have collapsed into heaps of maggoty meat, slowly dissolving back into the dirt they were resting on. And I could safely walk down to my local donut shop for a treat.  |
