Tatiane Cortes and Juliano Tavares Shot Dead in Candelaria, October 6, 2015
Tatiane de Oliveira Cortes and Juliano Ederson Rodrigues Tavares were shot dead at Motel Lago Azul on the RSC-287 highway in Candelaria, Brazil, on October 6, 2015. A man forced his way through the garage door attached to their room and fired several shots. Both victims died at the scene. Police described the suspect as a 35-year-old co-owner of a metalworking shop in Candelaria. Investigators withheld his identity to protect the investigation. Police considered a crime-of-passion scenario in which a husband found his wife with another man, but treated it as an unconfirmed hypothesis rather than an official finding.  ·  ·  · |
