Woman Drowned Under Bridge
This afternoon a woman drowned under a bridge in Thailand. The best I can get out of the story is that she was sitting drinking under the bridge and went out in the water to cool herself - and drowned. She definitely didn't fall from the bridge - I guess that the bank under it was a nice place to find some shadow. There were witnesses who called help, but it came to late. 45 minutes is mentioned - maybe that's the time it took the rescue team to arrive. She seems to be a burmese immigrant, but nothing else is mentioned about her identity, not even her age. But the identity is known, as her husband is mentioned - either he was with her or arriving shortly after the incident. · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · |

Re: Woman Drowned Under Bridge
There is a small video too. It is low quality, but it shows how they search for her and pull her out of water.

Alcohol and swimming (or attempt to) don't mix that well. |

Re: Woman Drowned Under Bridge
Why are they pushing into her belly in the 9th and 10th picture?

Re: Woman Drowned Under Bridge
It looked like one guy was checking for a pulse and the other trying to expell water from her? My best guess. |

Re: Woman Drowned Under Bridge
I agree with Kelseecat - they try to pump out the water, she has swelled. If you look in the video, it is the first thing they do after they got her upper body up above the water. Looks almost like he is caressing her belly - a little rough maybe - while holding around her.
