A 28 years old woman dead on the asphalt with a lot of blood from her head and the helmet apparently undamaged on the road.

She had left home at 5.15 am on Thursday May 14th according to her husband, and the accident happened at 6.

Look at the Logo on that cheap chinese helmet. Maybe she would be still alive if she would have had a real Shoei.

She had a good helmet. its INDEX brand not SHOEI. Many expert bike riders in asia prefer Index over shoei because shoei is too tough that it bounces off the road on impact and many cases, breaks the neck as it bounces off. Index is tough too but not too tough that when it suffered a good amount of impact, the plastic absorbs the impact and breaks. letting the foam and webbing inside absorb the rest of the impact.

But like i always say, even the best breaks down when it is used beyond its capacity.

Didn´t read good thing about Index when i googeled it yesterday.
