It really doesn't, If you read the link I posted with the images it goes into great detail how a knife sinks way deep into the body easily after piercing the skin according to survivors.

That's sad, I wanted to see the knife better. If that knife is the one I think it is, they are like 1/5 inch thick at the spine and barely sharpened out of factory so it would shed a whole new light on the commitment to drive that so deep into the body.
