If you look closely, you can see a mottled yellow and discoloration to the parts that are showing first stage decomp. But, that is yellow jaundice. Another tidbit, when embalming someone that had jaundice, a specialized embalming fluid has to be used. It can't have formaldehyde as an ingredient. If the embalmer accidentally uses an embalming fluid that does have formaldehyde in it, the body will turn a vivid green!!! and once that happens, you can't make it turn back to yellow, or anything that would even be close to looking normal. One of the correct fluids to use is called "Jaundicide" it will help make the body have a more real life skin tone. Cabriolet.  |
