Where is the other shoe? At every accident site, there is always one shoe, never a pair. I've even confirmed this with an EMT friend. She said she has never had a DOA with both shoes. You often see single shoes around. I would think in the case of a MVA, you could maybe judge speed of the vehicle by the distance of the body and perhaps, the shoe.
