Most of the world does not have the same sue-happy culture we have in the States. They could try to file a lawsuit, but I doubt any courts would take them very seriously.

But seriously chances are that the paramedics didn't take it seriously and took their sweet time thinking "oh well a broken leg... 'tsokay."

In this case I would at least demand for an explaination for such unexplainable delay (40mins x 24km? Hm). If it isn't convincing enough then yeah I'd probably go all American on them

She apparently died of internal injuries.
She more than likely bleed to death.

Without big brother most people are helpless. Learn first aid, CPR and carry a first aid kit in your car in case you are injured somewhere other then in front of a hospital.
