Where's My Ambulance?
Rather sad tale here. Family of four were driving on a semi-rural highway when the father swerved to avoid an obstruction, over-corrected, and rolled the family car. Everyone was largely alright, except for the 31 year old mother, who complained of head and leg pains. Dad called emergency services on his cell and was instructed to wait for an ambulance. About 10 minutes later, the mother collapsed and started groaning in pain. 10 minutes after that, she was screaming in agony with blood running out of her nose. Dad called emergency again, telling them to hurry and that his wife was dying. Unfortunately, it still took them another 20 minutes to arrive. By the time they got there it had been over 40 minutes since the crash. The young woman spent most of the previous 20 minutes moaning and crying in pain before she finally expired...about 5 minutes before EMTs arrived. According to the news article, they were less than 15 miles from the nearest hospital, so Christ knows what the delay was. But it sure made an ugly ending to a family outing. |

Re: Where's My Ambulance?
I hope for the EMT's sake, the family doesn't have cartel members, or they may get chopped and end up on blog del narco.
