And as far as STDs go, when the body dies, any living viruses or diseases that were depending on the body die quickly, and the nasty decomposition enzymes and bacteria begin to take over. Most funerals take place approx. 1 to 2 weeks after death, so it's highly unlikely and approaching impossible for any STDs to survive that long without a living supply of cells to feast on.
