Re: Vietnam

You've read books on the Vietnam War and you think that this "primitive culture" kicked the USA's ass?

The US lost just under 60,000 troops while the Vietnamese lost approximately 1.5 million. I hate war and I hate that people had to die...but just exactly what is your definition of victory?

It was a debacle, just like our war in the middle east. Our political elites kicked our ass, not the Vietnamese.
I totally agree- when you tie the militarys hands you are almost guaranteeing that they will lose or suffer great casualties. If you're going to fight a war, then don't fuck around- kick ass, take names, bury the dead and mourn your losses when it's over- but while you're engaged w/the enemy, fuck the Geneva convention, fuck not torturing the enemy to gain intel and most of all, fuck the politicians trying to run things from thousands of miles away- until they put a gun in their hands and fight w/ you side by side, they get no say. War is hell- innocent men, women and children die. But, when a government imposes its will on its people and starts killing the innocent, are we to stand idly by and allow it to happen or do we do what it takes to stop tyranny?

Re: Vietnam

I can't remember how many books on the Vietnam war I have read, all I am sure of is that primitive people kicked the arse of a so called super power.
Once again nice pic's Kelly, I am in danger of going in to sensory over load, great stuff.
