Various Deaths
1. Woman shot dead in Paragominas, August 2018.  2. On 30th July 2018 in Higuey, Angela Palcio had gone out to buy something from a shop. At the same time, police were chasing criminals. Bullets were being exchanged + 1 of them hit Angela. She was taken to the hospital but died not survive. She leaves behind 4 children.   3. On the morning of 22nd January 2015 near Manaus, the bodies of 28 year old José de Jesus da Silva + 46 year old Jacira Raimunda Silva Couto were found. Jacira, the ex-wife of a police officer detained since 2003, was shot 3 times (1 in the head + 2 in the chest). José was shot 5 times (4 in the chest + 1 in the mouth). 32 year old Justiça Elias de Souza Candido Rodrigues Junior was the gunman. He was arrested in 19th December 2016 + is thought to be behind at least 6 murders.        4. In San Francisco de Macorís on 31st July 2018, 23 year old Carlos Miguel Salazar Sosa, lost his life. He had assaulted several women + tried to rob them of their mobile phones. Adelin Romero Camilo, who was with him at the time, escaped but was arrested days later. Carlos was arrested for theft in 2012.       |
