The reason our President consults congress and other members of government is to gain insight on matters of peace and war. To simplify further - this is why we live in AMERICA and not KOREA with a fascist, communist dictatorship.
These matters need to be carefully deliberated, because now, we're being launched into ANOTHER massive war in the middle east that could easily become a third world war. Especially after the shit Trump pulled with the Northern Syria kurds when they were being attacked by Turkey and he pulled our allied troops out of the fight.
No loyalty, no trust, no morals. Not only does the world think we're a fucking joke, now we're abandoning our only allies and attacking their top military officials. The whole "Trump thinks the general had plans to attack US personnel" is a bullshit smokescreen to what's actually happening.
Which is, the US trying to bully Iraq and Iran into giving us full access to their oil fields. Our government has done it to many, many other countries. We go to a poor country and offer them millions to reboost their economy and offer to train their military, in exchange for ownership of their natural resources and exports. Desperate enough, many countries agreed because their people were dying in severe poverty. Only a few refused. Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt and Libya. Seems all our wars are centered in those areas, eh?

Actually, this guy had been behind a shit load of attacks and provocations. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. Sorry, not sorry. He was also part of UN sanctions but hmmm, he wasn’t remaining confined to Iran, was he?

Interestingly, he also has met with Russian officials to include Putin and coordinated with them on Syria....would be another nail in the ‘Russian Collusion’ argument if true.

The world is better of without this guy and if Iran thought it could continue to conduct operations and attacks (see: Saudi Oil field attack, Oil tanker attacks, etc) without repercussions it is now realizing that the world has changed. This isn’t the same administration that shipped $$$ and hoped they would play along.

There may be some actions taken by Iran, but do not think to blame this strike for any of that. The blame lays squarely at the feet of the Ayatollah and his crowd. They have the power and ability to stop escalation. Think they will?

But this was the blatant, public assassination of a high-ranking military official of an internationally-recognized sovereign nation.
