Her family probably doesn't have money left to claim her and pay for the funeral  serious illnesses can bankrupt a family in China because there's no health insurance or social welfare.Unfortunately similar things happen in the States as well, go to "websleuths" and you'll see records of unclaimed bodies with names and relatives out there, who couldn't or wouldn't claim the bodies for various reasons. |
