Good friend of mine lost his sister to an elephant trampling incident here in Florida. She worked at a zoo that took in and tried to rehab abused elephants from the circus (Barnum and Bailey circus to be exact). The animal trampled her. As she was carried away she screamed and begged to NOT PUNISH AND OR KILL THE ELEPHANT. Her wish was granted and the park closed the elephant exhibit for years. Very sad.
