I worked with a guy who was Nigerian and his mom died a month prior and the funeral services were for like two weeks!! Crazy!!  |

Mm, I would argue that plaque / bacteria build up is the number one cause of tooth decay (films of bacteria that accumulate on the teeth). Gingivitis is gum inflammation, caused by poor oral hygiene well after plaque occurs. |
