I think the women should flock over to western states..Seems the guys have strong ideas on what a woman should do.The fact that so many are treated worse than a dog shocks me..Horrible conditions for a gal to grow up in..But I also have to admit I dont get the culture so I am no expert thats for sure..

These same shots have been wrongly identified as girls killed while walking to school because they were christians. I don't know if I can state the name of the site. Islamic extremists were also blamed in that post. It would be interesting to know if there was outrage by the community they lived in... or would that too much of a western cultural expectation?

what freaks me out about beheading is if its done in one slash meaning bam cut does your brain have a moment still to realize your head is off and see the world tilt as it falls? im asking cuz i had a dream once where i was fighting in a suit of armor (i was a male) it was very vivid and we didnt have our helmets on anymore me nor my opponent it was obvious in the dream we were tired and had been hacking away at each other for a while and then he swung and got me across the neck and i remember the view of the room as my head fell off backwards very realistic and freaky maybe a past life memory? very weird as i am a woman and have never been in armored sword combat before lol |

Sorry to dispell the myth, but the severing of the spine would cause a total loss of lucidity (though remaining conscious in a technical sense), lasting longer than the 10-15 seconds it takes to lose consciousness from loss of intracranial pressure. Brain death would then follow in about a minute. So nope, no true awareness of what's happening to you after the chop. Cool dream though. Usually in mine I'm the one doing the chopping etc - I wonder if they've done any studies on people being victims or assailants in their dreams? |
