These two 19 year old girls left for work yesterday morning, heading out to an interning job that they work together. When they never reached the office, one girl's family grew concerned and mounted a search effort after being unable to reach her by cell phone.

Their bodies were discovered later on in the day. They were stripped naked and bound in several places with knife-cut strips of their own clothing. The remainder of their apparel was lying scattered nearby in the field where they were found. Both had strips of clothing tied tightly around their necks and had signs of strangulation, but their throats were also cut, so it has not yet been determined whether COD was asphyxia or the slit throats.

Sexual assault has not been officially confirmed, but police informed the newspapers that details at the scene make it appear likely that one or both girls were raped.

There are currently no suspects. The field where they were found was just off the path they took to work. The girl's parents said that they walked past the field every single day.
