Re: Two Cambodian Suicides
So 2nd girl's parents now have a dead daughter instead of a living daughter married to someone she loved. Saddest thing is, in some cultures, the parents will feel they have the better deal :(

Re: Two Cambodian Suicides
Concrete walls are a luxury in some of these countries. I've traveled quite a bit and met many people who live in houses made of corrugated metal. A friend of mine who lives in Fiji lives in a three bedroom home made entirely of corrugated metal (not sure what the floor is made of) which he shares with his wife and four children. The upside of that is he pays no rent, only paid something like $3,000USD for the place and as a result is able to put all of his kids through school and university over there. |

Re: Two Cambodian Suicides
How did the second one die? I notice blood near her mouth but nowhere else... did she ingest something that caused her to cough up blood as she died? You'd think she'd give running away a go before suicide... I reckon in these cases a lot of the time the family will kill them and make it look like a suicide. They have to defend their honour!
