Well it was an office building so maybe it was one of the taller buildings around. It was prob an exhaust or theyd of smelled it quick. I guess it all matters on the buildings location. Could of been down wind of a sewage plant, dump, smelly etc. Even being in a city, some areas smell terrible..  The smell really isint what stumped me. You duct is clogged with a well.. clog that large your system would suffer big performance issues. And how did they know he was in there for seven years? Maybe he was wearing a watch that was broken on the day he fell. Thanks Sharon! I found this quite interesting. Fucked way to go. Especially the upside down case. Ehh  |

They found a calendar in his pocket with a day circled and the notation "Burglarize office building. Access through exhaust vent.". It was pretty much standard police work after that. |

If temperatures stayed well above a certain degree, bacteria would never form or survive, essentially he became beef jerky. And for most part reason for no decompose or smell.
