I always wondered why people choose this method of suicide. It seems so painful. Agonizing, even. I wonder if it's a sign of lack choices financially (no pills, alcohol, gun).

I also wonder if people choose hanging because it seems to have the highest success rate. People who swallow pills sometimes get nauseous and throw them up, and we have all seen the failed gun suicide attempts on here. I agree hanging seems like a painful way to do it though.
