In Puerto Colombia, Atlántico Department, four male members of the same family were conversing in their home when hitmen entered the site, apparently through the roof, and attacked them.

After the attack, the attackers fled aboard a champagne-colored Renault Duster vehicle, leaving at the scene a rifle that would have been used to commit the act, and a grenade, which was deactivated by members of the police.

In the event, R.I.V.D, R.V.D., and R.V.C. were killed, while a fourth man was injured in the left leg and taken to hospital. An award of 100 million Colombian pesos (around $24,000) has been offered by police.
