it's called "cropping" of a dog's ears

Many Pit Bulls have their ears cropped. Many show dogs are cropped, because its a favorable look with the judges. Cropped ears do not = a dog used for fighting. Addicts use spoons to melt their dope, that doesn't mean all or most people who have spoons in their home, are drug addicts.

Such a pretty example of the breed too. They are really lovely, strong dogs. The only thing that annoys me is that his ears are cropped wrong. Looks like a "backyard cropping" to me.

Now for some fun trivia.

Did you guys know, that genetically, the PUG is closer to the wolf than any other dog? That's right these are closer to the wolf, genetically, then a pitbull:

The dog has been in the fighting pit and has had what were already severely docked ears ripped off.

This is the way of many people with these particular dogs.

You can get pretty messed up when a dog attacks but (imo) the dog went further than most. The dog was out to kill & was not going to stop until that person was dead.

And the dog's injuries were not bad. Certainly not as bad as what it has gotten in the pit.
