 For protecting it's home and family from a fuckin' intruder that wanted to rob, and possibly kill them? What if it had been you that was in that situation? Would you have killed your dog for protecting you? Don't think so....... It's the thug's own fault he got killed,and I think it is funny as hell.  |

This pit bull's ears are "cropped". That's what they do with "working" pit bulls. That way there's nothing for another dog to get ahold of and rip. Ew, huh? Many breeds of dogs ears are cropped, but usually it's just fashion, for show only. As a vet tech for many years, I can tell you this is a very cruel and painful operation for ALL breeds, including cutting off pup's tails. Ears are done later in a pup's life, usually around 4-6 mos. For the record, newborn pup tail docking hurts bad!! They scream and yelp like crazy, poor fuckers, while the mother dog flips out in a cage hearing their cries. Then for hours, sometimes days afterward, the puppies are inconsolable, while poor freaked out momma dog licks them trying to fix their wounds. Now you know. Ear flaps and tails are good just the way they were.  |
