There was an execution early on and they dragged the man's corpse back and forth to make everyone shut up, multiple eyewitnesses state that, but people online state things like rapes and sodomy in front of everyone which kind of goes in the other direction of the terrorists trying to calm people down.

I'm not refuting it or saying rapes didn't occur, I'd just like to know who says that so I can read those accounts also. In fact the second in command, Khudov was a convicted rapist, so, it stands to reason it might have occurred, but says who?

Only idiots classify a complete group by the actions of a few. Christians, whites, blacks, Muslims, etc... all have their extremists. It's the extremist part that makes them scum, not the religion or race. Other than that just ignore some of the trolls here, they have no real position other than flamming to get attention.

Christians, atheists, etc. do not actively promote the killing or forced conversion/submission of infidels, the subjugation of women, and the openly aggressive discriminatory ideals that Islam does.
They also (generally) do not condone the introduction of capital punishment/amputation for adultery, homosexuality and apostasy.

Most other religions have selectively eliminated such extreme punishments in order to better suit a modern world. But because Islam is considered by its adherents to be perfect, unchangeable, and their ultimate paragon of perfection is a medieval warmonger and pedophile, any Muslim who refutes that homosexuals, adulterers, Jews and infidels are inferior and/or deserving of death will be at odds with the Quran and Hadiths.
